OBTAINING ESTA FRANCE AUTHORIZATION FOR THE USA
Would you like to discover Uncle Sam’s country? Our experts can help you organize your trip. In this article, you’ll learn about the different ways to obtain ESTA authorization in France.
WHAT IS ESTA FRANCE?
The ESTA France is a travel authorization issued by US Customs to French nationals wishing to visit the USA for a maximum stay of 90 days.
To be eligible, a number of criteria must be met, such as :
- an electronic or biometric passport, valid for the duration of your stay;
- travel for tourism or business;
- be from one of the 38 member countries of the Visa Waiver Program.
As this travel authorization request can only be made remotely, via the Internet, you’ll also need a credit card to finalize your purchase.
The ESTA is valid for two years. So, if you feel like it, you can make several trips during this period.
This document is relatively easy to obtain, costs less than a visa and is delivered very quickly, in less than 72 hours – or even the same day in most cases.
GET YOUR ESTA FRANCE
There are several ways to receive your ESTA France.
You can :
- log on to the official U.S. website. You will be presented with a long questionnaire. You’ll be asked to answer a series of questions, divided into the following categories: identity (surname, first names, date of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry, etc.), health (current and past), legal profile (background, relationship to American law), travel (local address and emergency contact).
Once the questionnaire has been validated and payment made, you cannot update your information, with the exception of your e-mail address and U.S. address.
- To limit the risk of errors that could delay your ESTA authorization, you can call on our private company, which is accustomed to handling the process of obtaining this travel document. Our experts will thoroughly check all your answers. We also ensure that your form is sent to the department authorized to issue ESTAs. You’ll receive your document directly in your mailbox, and are free to save or print it.
NB: As the procedure is entirely computerized, you are under no obligation to print out your authorization. However, for greater peace of mind and to avoid any possible inconvenience, we recommend that you take a copy of your ESTA with you on your trip.
