ESTA AUTHORIZATION FOR THE USA

With 75 million visitors every year, the United States is one of the most popular destinations for international tourists. While most of them have to obtain a USA visa to enter the country, others are able to take advantage of the VWP visa waiver program and obtain ESTA authorization.

WHAT IS ESTA AUTHORIZATION?

The ESTA authorization is a form to be completed by travelers wishing to visit the United States for vacation or business.

This procedure eliminates the need to apply for a visa, which is much more expensive and time-consuming than ESTA authorization. The Visa Waiver Program is intended for nationals of the 38 participating countries. Under certain conditions, they can benefit from a simplified procedure for visiting the USA:

There are two ways to obtain your ESTA authorization online:

• The first is to go directly to the official website of the American administration;

Obtaining ESTA authorization can be complicated. You have to fill in a 3-part form concerning your identity, your passport and your stay, and answer a series of questions (with only yes or no answers) about your criminal record or state of health.
